B.Sc. Aeronautics

A flight attendant, also known as steward/stewardess or air host/air hostess, is a member of the aircrew aboard collectively called as Cabin Crew. They hold most important position in the Aircraft. They are responsible to carry out the instructions given by pilot, co-pilot. They are also in charge of the safety and comfort of passengers and can intervene in normal and emergency situation on an Air Craft.

Eligibility: Any Graduate with 50 % marks (45% for reserved category students, graduates from University within Maharashtra) or those who are appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline of an approved University.

Eligibility for Admission: Candidate should have passed with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of reserved category candidate from Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline and should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10 + 2 or Graduation level.

Is there any scholarship scheme for various courses under SGI?
Yes, Scholarship is available through the AERO-CET examination which is conducted twice in a year in both online and offline mode. This scholarship examination makes students eligible for scholarship upto 100% on Tuition Fees for the Aviation programs offered by any of the institutions under the aegis of SGI. Candidates who appear for AERO-CET Examination are exempted from all other entrance examinations as AERO-CET examination is a common assessment for eligibility as well as scholarship.
Is there any Loan / Educational Finance Option Available for various programs offered under SGI?
Yes, the group has tie up with multiple renowned NBFC’s, and Pvt. Banks for financing the education from KG to PG. Also candidates may approach any of the nationalized banks of their own choice for financing However, approvals are dependent on fulfilling the criteria laid down by the financing institutions. Required supporting documents from institute will be provided by us.
